workout for power

The concept of power training is based on Rate of Force Development (RFD). By using the Stretch-Shortening Cycle (SSC), you are training your muscles to respond like a spring. When you stretch a muscle quickly (eccentric phase) and then immediately contract it (concentric phase), you utilize both elastic energy and neural firing to produce an explosive output that cannot be achieved with raw strength alone.

The following is a performance protocol to create this:

Low volume/high intensity focus on the dynamic effort portion of the program by performing 5 sets of 3 reps of either Barbell Cleans or Kettlebell Swings at 60-70% of your maximum to maximize bar speed.

As far as the plyometric component goes, do 4 sets of 5 Depth Jumps where you step off a box and explode up as soon as your feet hit the ground.

Allow for 3-5 minutes of rest between sets so that your central nervous system (CNS) can recover fully.

Core benefits of this type of training include:

* Increase fiber recruitment: This type of training will help you increase the recruitment of your Type II (fast twitch) muscle fibers.
* Improve athletic carryover: Power training improves vertical jump, sprinting speed and reaction time.
* Increase metabolic efficiency: High-intensity bursts elevate the metabolic rate and improve neuromuscular coordination. zennergy fitness program will help you to change yourself

how BMI works on your body?

How to Identify Your Weight Based on BMI

BMI is a metric that classifies you into a “category” of risk relating to obesity and metabolic disease. To use BMI as a baseline measure, we need to first define what the following categories will be:

Underweight (< 18.5): You may have insufficient caloric density for your needs

Optimal (18.5 to 24.9): There is the lowest possibility of developing obesity-related disease

Overweight (25 to 29.9): You may want to be more mindful of your exercise and/or dietary intake

Obese (30+): You are at a greater risk of developing metabolic diseases, such as Type 2 diabetes or stress on your heart

Measuring Your Consistency in Achieving Your Goals through BMI

If you are on a fitness journey, BMI can serve as a reference point during your progress. Even though your weight may vary daily, BMI serves as a larger reference point for your overall success over a longer period. Not only does BMI keep track of your successful journey towards your goal weight overall, but it will also show whether the overall long-term trend over time is trending toward your target range.

BMI as a Standardized Measurement for Medical Insurance Providers

Healthcare providers utilize BMI as a standard way to classify patients. This means that BMI assists healthcare providers in assessing patients with respect to how well they may fit within established guidelines and standards for additional diagnostic (e.g., blood sugar, cholesterol, etc.) testing based on their BMI classification..
